Chip Reese The Best Poker Player in the World

Chip Reese was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 28, 1951. His untimely death in December of 2007 was mourned by many of the top poker players in the world period. Players like Doyle Brunson considered Chip Reese to be the best poker betting player in the world. His tournament play was solid with total winnings exceeding 2.2 million dollars. This amount is small if one listens to the tales of his prowess in cash games. Chip Reese won three WSOP events out of the few times he played in the tournaments. His biggest payout in a tournament came in 2006 in the first WSOP HORSE tournament with its $50,000 Poker Betting buyin. Chip won 1.7 million poker betting dollars when he captured the prize after a seven-hour struggle at the final table.
