Most people take the insurance when the dealer shows an ace. They think the worst that can happen is I win half my bet back but what they don’t realize is that the dealer has to hit a 10,J,Q,K. This is only 35 % of the deck. You, the player have a 65% advantage of the dealer NOT hitting anyone of those cards. So the next time the dealer looks at you with a smile and asks “Insurance?” It is in your favor to say no!
